Roosevelt fell to 7-7 on the year after facing an Aquinas team that entered the day with just one loss and improved to 18-1 after the doubleheader.
Haley Huss had the Lakers' sole hit, a sixth-inning single, against Marisa Loya, but unfortunately Maddy Janssen's complete-game quality start (six hits, two earned runs) did not get support in a 3-0 loss.
Amber Green supplied the Lakers' only base knock against Mandy Rosol, hitting a fifth-inning single after coming off the bench to play center, but Aquinas took advantage of two early Roosevelt errors to score three runs in each of the first two innings en route to an 8-0 run-rule decision.
