NAPERVILLE, Ill. - The Roosevelt track team competed at the Gregory Invitational hosted by North Central College this past Wednesday and Thursday to conclude the 2017 outdoor campaign and the collegiate careers of seniors that recently graduated from Roosevelt University.

Senior Dan Lim opened a meet for the Lakers for the last time in the 110M hurdles. He posted a time of 16.89 in his speciality event.

Lim also ran the 400M dash for a time of 1:00.62. He then finished his collegiate career with the Green and White in the 400M hurdles and posted a time of 1:06.44.

Senior Troy Harness finished his collegiate career for Roosevelt in the 1500M run. He posted a time of 4:31.71. Freshman Kwesi Ayekumi ran with the veteran Harness one last time with a time of 4:40.85.

Lim and Harness finished their collegiate campaigns with several school records under their belts. Lim currently holds the 100M dash and 110M high hurdles record, and Harness holds the 1000M run record. Lim and Harness are also part of the squad, along with Edwin Renteria and Ayekumi, that broke the 4x400M relay record.

Harness is the first four-year student-athlete for the cross country and track program. He graduated with a degree in criminal justice. Harness is working toward becoming a police officer.

Lim is one of the many transfers, like head coach Aaron King, that came into the program and made an impact in a short amount of time. He graduated with a degree in biochemistry and will be joining Roosevelt's College of Pharmacy program this summer.
