WARRENVILLE, Ill. - The Roosevelt Lakers cross country teams had a change of schedule this weekend and competed in the Eagle Invitational, hosted by Benedictine University, in a return to St. James Forest Preserve for the second time in less than a month.

Brianna McCormick was the leading lady for the Lakers during the 6K adventure. She posted a Top 50 Performance. McCormick finished with a season- and personal-best time of 25:10.8, good for 48th overall.

Jackie Fuller and Jessica Fuller finished back-to-back, as they both posted season-best times in the 6K as well. They finished in 27:17.1 and 27:19.1, respectively, for 103rd and 104th place in the big field.

The Lakers will take a trip to Iowa for the NAIA Seminole Valley Stampede hosted by Mount Mercy University for one last preparation race before the CCAC Conference Championships.
