CHICAGO - Five Lakers had at least six kills, and the Lakers avenged an early-season loss to Trinity International by sweeping the Trojans, 25-20, 25-19, 25-22, at the Goodman Center on Tuesday.

Maddy Cysewski led all players with 10 kills, while Brooke Lee added nine, Abby Petroelje chipped in eight with just one error, and Makenzie Cooper slammed down seven kills for the Lakers (6-11, 4-6 CCAC).

Chelsey Crippen posted six kills and matched Cysewski with four total blocks.

Madison Dunbar led all players with 15 digs, and Mallory Nickelson (19 assists) and Mackenzie Bell (15 assists) handed out the help per usual.

In a match pitting two teams with identical conference marks, it was the Lakers outhitting the Trojans (13-14, 3-7 CCAC) by a wide margin. Roosevelt hit at a clip of .238 with 41 kills, while TIU posted a hitting percentage of .068 and registered just 27 kills to 20 errors.
