Libertyville, Ill. - Junior Alex Agafonov posted a top 10 finish in his Roosevelt debut, highlighting the men's cross country team's performance on Saturday at the 13^th Annual Forester Invitational at Adler Park.

Agafonov completed the 8K course in eighth place with a time of 26:39, setting a new school record. Junior Aaron King was the next Roosevelt runner to cross the line, placing 21^st in 28:51.

There was no team scoring in the men's race due to a course error.

Roosevelt will be back in action on Saturday, Oct. 1, when they compete at the Loyola Lakefront Invitational at Montrose Harbor.
