The men's soccer program will open its inaugural season in 2012-13. The Lakers will compete at the NAIA level as members of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference.

Roosevelt University is welcoming intercollegiate athletics back to campus for the first time since 1989, and for the first time sponsoring women's athletic programs. The Lakers will begin play in the fall of 2010 with men's and women's cross country, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's basketball and baseball.
