Chicago, Ill. - The Roosevelt women's basketball team's city rivalry with Robert Morris will be taken to another level on Tuesday night at 5:00 p.m. as the two sides meet in the quarterfinals of the CCAC Division I Tournament at the Shannon Center on the campus of Saint Xavier University.

The Lakers (15-15, 3-7) are the No. 5 seed in the tournament while the Eagles (16-11, 4-6) are the No. 4 seed for the event. The winner of Tuesday night's showdown heads to Bourbonnais, Ill., on Thursday night to meet top-seeded Olivet Nazarene in the tournament semifinals. The championship game is slated for Saturday at the home venue of the highest remaining seed.

Roosevelt is 1-3 all-time against Robert Morris with that victory coming less than a week ago when the Lakers topped the Eagles, 72-55, on Feb. 22 at Attack Athletics.

Roosevelt should feel comfortable at the Shannon Center, having played eight games in the facility the last two seasons. While the Lakers are 0-3 against Saint Xavier in its home gym, Roosevelt is 4-1 in neutral court games at the Shannon Center with all of those contests coming during the 2010 and 2011 SXU Christmas Tournament.

This is Roosevelt's first-ever postseason appearance as the Lakers were ineligible for last year's tournament as a first-year program.
