Elgin, Ill. - The fifth-seeded Roosevelt women's tennis team saw its 2012 season come to a conclusion on Monday afternoon as the Lakers were defeated 9-0 by host No. 4 Judson in the quarterfinals of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament.

Roosevelt ends the year with a record of 5-10, while Judson (9-14) advances to the tournament semifinals on Friday and a date with regular season champion Robert Morris.

The Eagles jumped on the Lakers early by taking all three of the doubles matches.

 Despite valiant efforts from Carina Balan, Valerie Vasquez and Danielle Smith at No. 1, 2 and 3 singles, Judson would go on to take those three matches, as well as the remaining three singles forays, to close out Roosevelt's season.
