Chicago, Ill. – Roosevelt University Head Men's Soccer Coach Graham Brennan announced the latest addition to his roster on Tuesday as John Franco, a Schaumburg High School graduate, has committed to join the Lakers for the 2012 season. 

Franco, a midfielder, took home All-Mid-Suburban League honors, as well as Honorable Mention Daily Herald All-Area accolades, for the Saxons in his senior season as his side captured the MSL West Division title along with regional and sectional crowns.

"John is an intelligent center midfielder that reads the game very well," said Brennan. "He is excellent in the holding role of the midfield with his ability to link the defenders with the attack.  John has gained great experience playing at Schaumburg high school under coach Hamid Mehreioskouei." 

The Roosevelt men's soccer team will take to the pitch for the first time on August 23 versus Arizona Christian.
