Chicago, Ill. – Roosevelt University Head Golf Coach Marty Scherr secured his third student-athlete from the state of Michigan, announcing on Monday the signing of Galesburg native and Gull Lake High School graduate Evan Krohn.
Krohn capped a standout senior season by placing fourth at the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) Regional Tournament, before ending the year with back-to-back rounds of 77 and 76 to take 19th at the MHSAA LP Division 2 State Finals.
"I'm so pleased to have been able to get Evan here to round out our team with such a great guy who is a terrific golfer and a very good student" says Coach Scherr. "We now have five competitive golfers that will make a very good showing in our first season."
Krohn will be going into the Walter E. Heller School of Business.
