
Mishawaka, Ind. – Junior forward Nicole Stellar's hat trick paved the way to Bethel College's 6-0 victory over the Roosevelt women's soccer team on Saturday afternoon at Morey Field.
Stellar opened the scoring in the fifth minute and later gave the Pilots (2-1) a 3-0 lead in the 37th-minute with her second tally of the match. Stellar gave Bethel a 4-0 advantage 15 minutes into the second half, finding the back of the net for the seventh time this season.
Meagan McPherson added two goals and an assist for the Pilots who out-shot the Lakers (0-2) by a 30-6 margin.
Roosevelt will look to break into the win column for the first time this season when they travel to take on Knox on Monday afternoon.
