Normal, Ill. – Seniors Aaron King and Alex Agafonov both posted season-best times on Friday for the Roosevelt men's cross country team, which placed 20^th out of 29 teams in the College Division at the Illinois Intercollegiate Championships held on Friday evening at Weibring Golf Course.

King and Agafonov crossed the line together with King placing 84^th in the 8K race that featured 270 entrants with a time of 26:43. Agafanov's time was just a second back at 26:44.

GianCarlo Vassallo (162^nd/28:29), Jon Hernandez (169^th/28:38) and Thomas Woods (222^nd/30:22) rounded on the Lakers scoring five on Friday.

Roosevelt will continue its season on Sept. 29 at the Loyola Lakefront Invitational.
