Chicago, Ill. - The Roosevelt volleyball team earned its third straight victory on Wednesday night with a sweep of host Moody Bible in a non-conference match at the Solheim Center, 25-15, 25-9, 25-21.

With the victory, the Laker are now 11-7 on the season. All three of Roosevelt's victories during its winning streak have come on the road. Moody Bible drops to 9-5 on the year with the loss.

Sophomore Valerie Cutrone led the Lakers with 10 kills, while adding five digs and two blocks. Sophomore Vanessa Owusu chipped in with eight kills and four blocks. Rookie Talia Kaczmarek served up four aces and collected a team-high 11 digs.

Roosevelt will be back in action on Tuesday, Oct. 2 when the Lakers square off with Robert Morris at Attack Athletics at 7:00 p.m.
