
Valparaiso, Ind. - The Roosevelt men's tennis team continued to challenge itself against top flight talent from NCAA Division I and NAIA institutions over the weekend, competing the in two-day Valparaiso Invitational. The event was a singles and doubles flighted tournament with no team scoring.
The Lakers lone victory in a match that was completed came in a head-to-head match between teammates John Imperato and Danny White in the singles backdraw. Imperato won the all-Roosevelt affair, 6-2, 6-0. The Lakers did advance in six matches via walkover.
Roosevelt will be back in action on Saturday, Oct. 13 versus St. Ambrose. The match will take place at Diversey Tennis Center at 1pm.
