Macomb, Ill. – The Roosevelt women's tennis team wrapped up play on Saturday afternoon at the Hinds-Kellogg Women's Tennis Invitational hosted by Western Illinois University. The two-day flighted singles and doubles individual tournament pitted the Lakers against some of the region's top sides from NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III and NAIA.

Roosevelt's lone win at the event came in the No. 3 doubles tournament where the tandem of Liz Bartz and Feven Haile topped Callahan and Davis of Western Illinois, 8-5, in the opening round.

The Lakers will return to team play when they warp up their fall schedule at home on Saturday, Oct. 13 by hosting St. Ambrose at 1:00 p.m. at Diversey Tennis Center.
