
Deerfield, Ill. – Nationally-ranked Trinity International tallied five unanswered second-half goals to break open a tight contest with the Roosevelt women's soccer team and pull away for a 6-0 victory over the Lakers.
Roosevelt fell to 2-9-1 overall on the season and 0-6-1 in CCAC play with the loss.
Missy Loretto recorded a hat trick and added an assist to lead the #22 Trojans (10-2-1, 5-2). She opened the scoring in the 24th minute with her fifth goal of the season. The score remained 1-0 until 10 minutes into the second half when Loretto struck again on an assist from Courtney Ensz.
Trinity International added another goal just over a minute later for a 3-0 advantage. The score was 4-0 in the 76th minute when Loretto completed her hat trick.
Roosevelt will be back in action on Tuesday when they host #23 Judson at Toyota Park at 4:00 p.m.
