South Bend, Ind. – The Roosevelt volleyball team reached the 20-win plateau and guaranteed the first winning season recorded by any Lakers sport program on Saturday with a split of their two matches at the CCAC Crossover Tournament hosted by IU South Bend. Roosevelt opened the day with a four-set loss to the host Titans, 25-23, 27-25, 16-25, 25-16, but rebounded to topple Purdue North Central in four sets, 25-21, 25-15, 25-27, 25-8.

With one regular season game left on the slate, the Lakers are 20-16 and 9-9 in the CCAC. Roosevelt will take on IIT at home on Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. to close out the regular season, looking to lock up a spot in the CCAC Postseason Tournament.
