Certified Athletic Trainers are allied health care professionals, certified by the Board of Certification for athletic trainers. Athletic Trainers have a 4-year degree; with many have a graduate degree. In the State of Illinois, athletic trainers are licensed by the Department of Professional Regulation to provide onsite injury assessment & care, treatment, rehabilitation, prevention and administration of athletic injuries.

There will be an athletic trainer for daily practices and all home athletic contests for Roosevelt University. 

The athletic training room is located on the 3rd floor of the Auditorium Theater building in room 362. The facility is equipped with treatment modalities including: hot and cold therapy, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound, and rehabilitation devices.
