Certified Athletic Trainers are allied health care professionals, certified by the Board of Certification for athletic trainers. Athletic Trainers have a four-year degree, with many earning a graduate degree. In the State of Illinois, athletic trainers are licensed by the Department of Professional Regulation to provide onsite injury assessment & care, treatment, rehabilitation, prevention and administration of athletic injuries.

 
There will be an athletic trainer for daily practices and all home athletic contests for Roosevelt University. 

 


 

 

       

TRAINING ROOM LOCATION:
The athletic training room is located on the first floor of the Goodman Center. The facility is equipped with treatment modalities including: hot and cold therapy, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound, and rehabilitation devices.
