Prep/Personal: Varsity letterwinner at Batavia High School in Batavia, Ill., where he averaged 11.6 points and 9.2 rebounds per game as a senior under the direction of Head Coach Jim Roberts...following his final prep campaign, he earned Illinois Basketball Service (IBS) All-State Honorable Mention honors, as well as All-Area accolades from the Daily Herald, Beacon News and Kane County Chronicle, and All-Upstate Eight Conference recognition...played on the AAU circuit for Velocity Elite coached by Sean Connor...son of David and Nanci Vaughn...has two siblings, Evangelyn and Clayton.
