Prior to Roosevelt: Picked up tennis sophomore year in high school after an Irish Dancing injury... 1st doubles and team captain for all three years... played on varsity junior and senior year, making it to finals of sectionals senior year.
Personal: Birthdate: March 26th 1992...daughter of Daniel and Barbara Smith...her high school tennis coach was Wes Cooley...main influence to play was younger brother...she looks up to Serena Williams because "she is the prime example of girl power" and Novak Djokovic because "he's pretty hot and a great overall player"…she plans to become a bilingual teacher either in low income schools or another impoverished country.
